Biography

Trisha M. Majumdar is Associate General Counsel at The Pennsylvania State University. Prior to joining the Office of General Counsel, Trisha practiced for more than 15 years in private practice, including her own practice and two regional law firms in eastern Pennsylvania. Her work focused on commercial real estate, land use, business transactions, and lender representation, including negotiating asset purchase agreements, real estate purchase and sale agreements, and commercial leases, as well as representing lenders in commercial loan transactions, modifications, and workouts. Trisha also represented municipalities and zoning hearing boards in zoning and land development matters and has successfully argued land use cases before the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court, resulting in published decisions.

Trisha received her J.D., cum laude, from New England School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement. She earned her B.B.A. in Management, with a minor in Economics, from Northwood University. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
