Biography
Joseph M. Milano is Assistant General Counsel at Penn State University. He joined the Office of General Counsel after working at Hoffman & Hlavac as an employment and litigation attorney in Allentown. While at Hoffman & Hlavac, Joseph focused his practice on employment law and litigation, including harassment, discrimination, disabilities, terminations, wage and hour, employment contracts, non-competition agreements, and employment policies. Joseph has experience litigating before state and federal court, as well as before state and federal administrative agencies. Joseph received his B.A. from Moravian College, graduating summa cum laude. Joseph received his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law, graduating cum laude. While completing his law degree, Joseph served as a legal intern for several entities including the Allentown Solicitor’s Office, Temple University’s Office of Ethics and Compliance, The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Philadelphia District Office Hearings Unit, and Elliott Greenleaf, P.C
