Jennifer L. Jacobs

Biography

Jennifer L. Jacobs is Associate General Counsel at The Pennsylvania State University. Prior to joining the Office of General Counsel, Jenn was an Associate in the Corporate and Financial Transactions Group with Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she concentrated her practice on corporate transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and financing transactions, and on general corporate governance. Jenn also practiced with Eckert’s Tax Group, routinely advising clients on international, federal, state, and local tax matters. Jenn received her B.A. from Columbia University, her J.D. from Tulane University Law School, where she was a member of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, and her LL.M. in Taxation from Northwestern University School of Law.
