David J. Giannantonio

Biography

David Giannantonio is Associate General Counsel at The Pennsylvania State University. Prior to joining the Office of General Counsel, David worked at Emory University, where he managed and negotiated research contracts in its Office of Technology Transfer, and later helped managed its research compliance program as Assistant Director of Research Compliance Initiatives in its Office of Compliance. David received his J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where he served as President of the Intellectual Property Society, and received a certificate from the Technology Innovation: Generating Economic Results (TI:GER) Program, a program focused on academic technology commercialization. David received his B.S. in Applied Biology and M.S. in Biology from The Georgia Institute of Technology, where he also conducted and published research on microbial biofilm formation.
